2026 BEGINNERS BEEKEEPING CLASS

Thinking of keeping honey bees?

This class is an introduction into the fascinating world of honey bees.

Learn about honey bee history, anatomy, activities, management, diseases, pests, and equipment to get started.

After completion of class, you can take the NCSBA Certified Beekeeper Test. (Must be a member of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association)

(2 Bee Yard days after classes To Be Determined after last day)

Cost $75 / individual

$125 / couple w/1 book
